We were asked by Asos Marketplace to collaborate with the buying students from Westminster and produce an 8 piece collection to be sold on Marketplace as a Westminster boutique. The class was split into 8 groups each with 4 designers and 4 buyers. We then had to come up with a name for our group and select a theme which will inspire our collection.
We had chosen the name Teepee by Biota which was inspired by outdoor technical garments and festivals. It featured a range of bright colours and included technical detailing such as buckles, drawstring, large pockets and zips but in a modern innovative kind of way =)
Here are the two garments a manufactured.
1. The Boombox dress
sorry the white buckles on the pockets are not featured yet but will upload a new picture of the garments fully finished once it has come back from being marked =)
2. The Track top with Laurens Mainstage trousers
Our garments got chosen to be sold on Asos Marketplace so welldone team Biota =) xxx
