Printed Project - Final Design

For our final piece of coursework to end the first year we were given a printed brief where we had to design a dress made from jersey fabric with printed elements on it. This was my final design.

During London Fashion Week i was given the opportunity to help out backstage with Vauxhall Fashion Week during my one week work experience at the Freemason Hall Covent Garden. Heres a few pictures i was able to capture during my week interning.

Final Design - Black Project

Worked with the designer Hannah Marshall on the black project brief. I really enjoyed this project even though timing was limited. I created a two piece half cropped pleated bodice with a gathered chiffon maxi skirt and a draped scarf behind.

1st Westminster fashion show =)

Drapes, Ruffles and Gathers

Im studying draping right now in university and have chosen to base my new brief all around different types of drapes, gathers and ruffles. Im actually so inspired by this brief and love the creations that come from these design details. The designer who really caught my attnetion with her use of draping was Georgia Hardinge who just won the VFS merit award aw11.
